And just like that, I am done with my final project and my first semester!! I haven’t had the chance to sit down and give a quick life update but basically over the summer I made the decision to go back to school and work on my fashion technology degree. The degree is fully focused on patternmaking which is a bit different from my previous degree I completed years ago. I’m also taking some additional classes just to gain more knowledge and keep up-to-date on the industry since I’ll be making a couple of changes in my business the next couple of months. The only downside to working on completing this degree this time around is the time. I’m a bit limited in time and how many classes I can take each semester because of the location of the college and most importantly because of work. Driving to downtown L.A. back and forth can get very tiring but I was able to make this upcoming spring semester schedule work the best I could. Also, I’m normally not that busy in the spring time like I am in the fall so I thought I would take advantage of that and try to be a full time student next semester. I only took one class this fall because of work but this upcoming summer I definitely need to prep costumes so I can take more classes in the fall. So yup, that’s my little life update. As for winter session, I could have take one class but I thought I would spend the rest of December and the whole month of January creating and filming content for my digital shop.
