Come along as I work on my happyjapan. As I mentioned in the video it's a lot easier for me to post on Instagram stories so if you would like to see more checkout my page!
I will still try to post more on here as well! Jump stitch mini scissors link: I'm thinking of adding this sewing pattern to my Etsy shop so let me know your thoughts! Should I keep the darker green part? And what sizes should I make the pattern? Lastly, I will have the embroidery
file up on my shop soon! -Yesenia Here's a step by step tutorial on our spooky ghost face! I designed this for our ghost Halloween bag sewing pattern ( Will have the video up soon!) But you can use it for other projects as well!
Embroidery File https://yeseniadesignsshop.etsy.com/listing/1412592731 Ghost bag tutorial https://youtu.be/JUuGn3uQwX4 I have so many things planned for 2023 but first let me quickly recap 2022. I started the year with going back to school and taking a screen printing and embroidery class. Once I was done with those classes; I started doing my research on what embroidery machine I should get and even visited my first Expo. I did vlog my whole journey but for some reason Youtube is being weird and not allowing YT Shorts to be posted or shared so if you would like to watch that content go directly to my Youtube channel here or my Instagram page here. I thought there was something wrong with my blog but I was able to figure out that those videos sadly won't be posted on here expect longer videos are the only ones allowed to be shared. Anyways, I was of course super busy with my shop and Halloween orders while getting comfortable using my embroidery machine. I ended the year with finally buying an embroidery software. And here we are 2023, I plan on teaching myself how to use Embrilliance and digitizing my own artwork. I tried to see if a school offered a class but I couldn't find anything so I'm on my own on this but thankfully there's some awesome tutorials on Youtube using that software. I also just started a 4 week course for a 3D pattern class I'm taking this month; so this year is definitely a year full of learning. So if you would like to follow along again, checkout my other social media accounts for updates but overall excited to learn new things! -Yesenia
Let's visit my professor's embroidery shop and use her machines!!

The past couple of weeks I’ve been cleaning up my socials and trying to work more on my branding. I started this blog back in 2012 when I started college and was working on my fashion degree. So, as you can see this blog holds a lot of memories through the years as I’ve grown up and my career as taken off. Even though last year wasn’t what we expected with the whole pandemic and lockdown, it gave me the opportunity to sit back and take things slow. I did a LOT of reflecting and growing. So, entering 2021 I was able to go in with a positive mindset and grow my business. It has been such an amazing year I honestly can’t believe we are so close to a new year! With this in mind I decided to make a few changes around here but this time I’m stating over. I made a big decision to make a lot of my previous content private. I want a fresh start to share my improved skills and focus more on my business. I will still share a few diys here and there but I’m excited to share more of my life as a small business owner/creator.
So, yup I’m entering 2022 with big changes and setting higher goals for myself. As for my new office area, I’ve attached a pic to share with you. I FREAKEN LOVE HOW IT TURNED OUT! This was one of my favorite quarantine projects from last year. I now have a space to design, edit videos and do all of the bookkeeping. I’ve really been enjoying this space to the fullest and I even decorated it for Christmas! (Stay tune for a quick Christmas bow tutorial I’ll be posting tomorrow) but yup, that’s my little life update and excited for what’s to come!
As always, stay crafty and I’ll talk to you soon
-Yesenia I've been doing a little online shopping the past couple of days; buying tools for my sewing room. I use to have some pretty floral acrylic paper weights a while back but sadly I broke them. So I decided to buy some new ones and I found some really cute sew themed ones from StarlightStitchery on Etsy...
